Pete: Hi, Jenny, would you like to go with me to Burning Man?
Jenny: Sounds neat, Pete, what’s Burning Man?
Pete: A bunch of new-agey hippie types go into the Nevada desert to wear funny clothes, drive crazy cars, get in touch with their inner selves, and burn a giant effigy of a man in the middle of the night.
Jenny: Wowsers! Well, I can go as long as we get back by 1030pm. My dad is on the warpath after you gave me that hickey.
If you have never heard of Burning Man, it is an event held every year in the Nevada Desert where participants go to, among other pursuits, be free, get in touch with their inner child and wear outrageous costumes.
Here are some of the most outrageous, elaborate get-ups you’ll ever see from Burning Man 2014.
Andy Kindler is back with another hilarious State of The Industry Address for 2014 where he dresses down the world of comedy from the past 12 months.
