First Known Photograph of a Human

First photograph of a human being 1838 - Louis Daguerre

This is the earliest known photo of a human ever taken. It’s the fellow getting his shoes shined in the lower left. It was taken in Paris in 1838 by Louis Daguerre. A year later, the famous play “Two Broke Girls” opened in a theater in this picture to wild acclaim.
