Slightly Crazy People in San Francisco – “We’re Just Here to Ride The Cable Cars” Family

Like thousands of others, the family is in town to take in the great views, fantastic architecture and the ride the cable cars. You can find them fingering the trinkets at Fisherman’s Wharf, or looking confused as they try to find a place to eat in Chinatown that doesn’t have dead ducks hanging in the window.

They always misjudge how cold it gets in the City. No matter how much they hear about the summer being cold, they never have enough clothes. You’ll see them walking around Ghirardelli Square in summer gear, shaking and shivering as they walk close to buildings to avoid the wind off the water. Usually 5-year-old Jimmy pipes up and says, “Why couldn’t we go to Walt Disney World?”
