36 questions that will make anyone fall in love with you instantly
Let’s face it, dating sucks. First dates most of all. You end up talking about the same moronic stuff.
Fortunately, researchers have the answer. Arthur Eron, PhD, and Elaine Eron, PhD, wanted to find the best questions you can ask any stranger that would move them closer to falling in love with you. They found 36 – here are a few:
Before making a telephone call, do you ever rehearse what you are going to say? Why?
What would constitute a “perfect” day for you?
When did you last sing to yourself? To someone else?
If you were able to live to the age of 90 and retain either the mind or body of a 30-year-old for the last 60 years of your life, which would you want?
Very interesting. I can see how these questions help two people explore common ground. To help with the research, here are some questions I’ve used to get someone to fall in love with me:
Do you prefer vacationing in my villa in the south of France or my castle outside Barcelona?
Do you want to be named beneficiary in my $100,000,000 life insurance policy?
Would you mind spending a month on my private yacht with me touring the Caribbean?
I’ll pick you up at 7pm in my Boeing 777-8, possibly the most expensive private jet ever made. Sound good?
These questions work better if you actually have these assets. In my case, the best I can do is an old Toyota Camry. So I have to lie. But the questions work anyway.
And the Camry has AC. So there’s that.
