Battle down to the wire with Wally Wideswing
07-23-24. Paris Olympics adventure update. Joined the US Bowling Team for warm-up games at the Palais de Bowling. The coach, Lane Striker, spent most of the time working with our top US bowler, Johnny “Triple-Trip” Tornado — we just call him “T.” His nickname comes from the time he bowled 300 perfect games (a perfect game is a 300 score) in a row without sleeping during a Mountain Dew-fueled, Dominos pizza-driven bet in 1989 at Detroit’s storied Motor City Lanes, where he bested his arch-rival, Wally Widewsing.
