Gomer had some good ideas
Most New Testament scholars agree the gospels weren’t written by people named Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. The names were added many years later. OK, so why not use the name Sheldon? Or Elmer? Or Gomer? The Gospel According to Gomer has a nice ring.
