HALT! Why are you being such a Crabby Karen?

Ever feel grumpy, crabby and complainy? Yes, complainy is a word I just made up. Well, the HALT method may help explain why you are so frustrated all the time. Check to see if you are one or more of these:

Hungry

Angry

Lonely

Tired

These are basic human conditions that make people grumpy. That’s why your Gratitude Journal, you know the one you bought to add things you are thankful for so you could snap out of your complaining ways, is completely empty.

Personally, I check for a few more things. I call it the GOLF method:

Golf scores ballooning out of control

Overweight due to too many pepperoni pizzas with double cheese

Little sleep due to staying up late to check football bets across the country

Forgetting where you parked your car at the mall

Use the HALT method and my GOLF method to see why you are such a Crabby Karen. It may save your life.
