“Hero Cat” Who Saved Young Boy Kicked Out of Cat Union
Four-year-old Jeremy was just doing what kids do–riding his bike in his own driveway. A crazy dog from next door snuck up on him and viciously attacked him. That’s when Tara, now known as “Hero Cat,” the family feline, dashed out to help. Tara flung herself headlong into the attack, driving the dog away and saving Jeremy.
Here is the security cam video of the scene:

Mr. Whiskers, longtime head of the Cat Union, kicked Tara out of the union. “Tara is making us look bad,” he told a hastily gathered press conference in New York City. “Cats don’t save people. Cats don’t care about people. Dogs care about people. Cats look down on people with disdain. We expect to be waited on, fed and pampered. We give nothing in return. We certainly don’t save anyone. It’s not what we do.”
Several members of the press asked Mr. Whiskers if kicking Tara out was a little harsh. “Here’s what you don’t know: This isn’t the first time she’s pulled this crap. It’s just the first time she’s been all over the news. People don’t know, but last year she pulled a baby out of a burning building. It’s embarrassing to cats, the Union and their families. She was warned and now she’s out. Maybe the Dog Union will give her an honorary membership.”
