Illinois voters will take a busted, rusty soda machine over Trump in 2024

Presumed presidential candidate Illinois governor (D) JB Pritzker sent a warning shot against the DeSantis camp saying in part Illinois has a better education system than Florida. Well, let’s see. Here is the US News ranking for the top 10. Florida came in no. 3 (#1 in higher ed, #16 in K-12). Illinois (not shown) settled at no. 11 (#32 in higher ed, #6 in K-12).

I don’t know much about the Pritzman, but a WBEZ/Sun Times poll from October, 2022 reported that Illinois voters don’t want ‘ol JB (or Biden) in 2024 but they would take a busted down soda machine over Trump. (OK, I added the soda machine thing but they said they don’t want Trump which seems to indicate DeSantis might have a better chance for the Repubs. Yes I know Trump is polling higher right now.)
