Jets Fan Loses Mind Over Loss To Eagles 24-14
Jib is a lifelong Jets fan. He watched dumbfounded as they lost today to the Eagles 24-14.
“The gol-dang Eagles! Of all people, we lose to the gol-dang 0-2 Eagles!” he fumed as the game wound to a close.
“I’ve been a fan of this team since they joined the American Football League as the Titans of New York. I was there when they moved from the Polo Grounds to Shea Stadium and to the Meadowlands in ’84. I was there when they won the Super Bowl over Colts in ’69. And now we lose to the gosh-darn Eagles. Shame it is. Shame.”
He stared at the window as rain began to fall.
