Just makes me miss acid rain

Just thinking about the time the US dropped a nuke on Canada. Say what? See, a US Air Force bomber was coming home and started having engine problems. They were forced to drop a nuclear weapon over a small town in Quebec. A bunch of uranium rained over the city when the bomb was detonated in mid-air with a non-nuclear protocol.

How does engine trouble lead to releasing a nuclear weapon? When your car engine starts to shake, do you think, well I might have to set it on fire? Probably not.
