Meatloaf draws the line

09-15-24. On this day in 1993 the hit “I’d Do Anything for Love (But I Won’t Do That)” was released. Meatloaf sang about a number of things he won’t do for love including join a group text. Asked about it at the Grammy Awards that year, he said, “I’ll do anything for love, but I won’t subject myself to 73 unread messages about what time brunch is.”
