Medina Church of Seasons Offers Free After-Service Doughnuts Every Sunday to Anyone Who Can Remove Scissors From Church Door

In an uncharacteristic outburst years ago after a heartbreaking Browns loss, Monsignor Gerald R. Sipefan threw the scissors in his hand across the church pews where it stuck in the inside of the main church door. Despite many attempts, no one has been able to dislodge it.

“I was really mad about the Browns that day and I’m sorry I let my anger get the best of me. No one was here at the time so there was no danger, but I regret it. Worse, we can’t get the scissors out of the door. That’s why we are offering free doughnuts for one year to anyone who can figure out how to get them out,” he explained.
