New roller coaster breaks down with train stuck on the highest peak
Cedar Point Amusement Park, located on Lake Erie in Ohio, was introducing its new roller coaster to media and superfans — The Wild Mouse.
And it broke down. With trains on the track.
Cedar Point has long been the ultimate destination for roller coaster enthusiasts. This place is like the Disneyland of roller coasters, with over 70 rides that’ll knock your socks off.
Let’s start with Steel Vengeance, the coaster that’ll make you feel like a cowboy riding a bucking bronco. It’s got insane drops, twists, and turns that’ll have you screaming like a banshee. And don’t even get me started on Top Thrill Dragster – this thing launches you to heights that’ll make your stomach drop and your heart race.
But Cedar Point’s not just for the adrenaline junkies. They’ve got plenty of classic coasters like Magnum XL-200 and Gemini that’ll take you back to the good old days of roller coasters. And if you’re feeling brave, check out Maverick, a coaster with twists and turns so tight, it’ll feel like you’re on a runaway train.
And let’s not forget about GateKeeper, a coaster that’ll make you feel like you’re flying as you soar over the park with nothing but the wind in your hair. It’s like being a superhero, only with less spandex.
With that legacy, it was super disappointing for a break down on the track of The Wild Mouse.
One train was AT THE HIGHEST POINT. Where are my pills!!??
It sounds bad, but actually The Wild Mouse is a new-retro version of coasters from the past. The highest peak is only 52 feet. The Millennium, one of the largest coasters there is 310 feet at the peak.
Wait, 52 feet is five stories. Where are my pills!!??
