Running behind Snoop Dogg

07-26-24. Update. Well, I made my mark at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. Well, sort of…as a “run support team member” for Snoop Dogg during the torch relay, I had one job: run just behind him and be ready to catch the torch if he faltered. Can you imagine me running alongside Snoop, the torch in all its flaming glory, and Paris cheering us on? Picture this: Snoop’s doing his thing, looking cool as ever, while I’m behind him, dodging stray baguette vendors, excited kids, and a particularly persistent pigeon. The cameras didn’t catch it but occasionally Snoop would slow down to hit a blunt, and he tended to stumble on the cobblestones while the torch wobbled. It gave me a heart attack when he did this but he always recovered.
