Say hello to freshness
07-24-24. Since I am an alternate to the US Bowling Team, I had to scrape together my own travel funds. I get paid a stipend to do the laundry for the team. My agent, who is also the night manager at Buckeye Bowl and Launderette, was able to leverage this into a gig on a laundry commercial for Zéro Puanteur (Zero Stink), a popular French detergent. In the spot, I’m folding the team’s clothes deep in the Olympic Village laundry room. I hold up some underwear with a disgusted face and say, “Zéro Puanteur – Dites adieu aux mauvaises odeurs!” (Zero Stink! Say goodbye to bad smells!)
