Shoplifting Suspects Jump Fence Into Police Station
Police approached two shoplifting suspects in Peoria, Arizona recently. The cops wanted to question them about several shoplifting crimes in the area. The pair didn’t feel like chatting so they took off on the run.
Unfortunately, they jumped a fence that surrounded the Peoria police station. As they ran toward the main building they were greeted by a large sign that indicates it is, in fact, the Peoria police station. They were quickly arrested.
Incredibly, a similar story hit the wires that same day. In Huntington, West Virginia, a bank robber emerged from a bank with a duffel bag full of stacks of cash. Police were already on their way, warned by a silent alarm set off by a bank employee. After a high speed chase, the thief drove down a side road and over an embankment, crashing through a fence that runs around the West Virginia – Huntington High Security Prison.
Later that afternoon, the Associated Press reported the story of a Texas man who was home recovering from a serious work injury, paid for by his union’s generous health plan. Well, he was supposed to be at home. After enjoying a game of golf, he went to see an afternoon movie and stopped by Starbucks. Sitting nearby was the woman who challenged his claim at the state workman’s compensation board weeks before. She called his employer from a cellphone and sent a video of him asking for extra spice on his pumpkin latte.
