There only ace on a par 4 in PGA history
There has only been one ace on a par-4 in PGA history. At the Waste Management Open at TPC Scottsdale in 2001, Andrew Magee drove the green on the 17th hole. The group in front was still on the green. The ball bounced off Tom Byrum’s putter and went right in the hole.
Magee’s ace was 332 yards. He said it caught a gust of wind and rode it all the way down. He never expected to hit it that far an into the group in front of him.
Sounds just like that nut that hit into your foursome at your home golf course, doesn’t it?
