5 amazing things from newly discovered Charles Darwin journals

Recently a small trunk was discovered that contained dozens of journals written by famed scientist, biologist and naturalist. Here are five amazing previously unknown observations he made during his life of research.

  • We evolved from apes except for hockey players who developed from an ancient species called Puckus Maximus.
  • Darwin predicted the success of Snoopy and the entire Peanuts comic strip in his book Zoology of the Beagle.
  • Evolution is not a single tree as he originally thought, but instead there are several distinct and separate branches completely different than your own. This is best evidenced by watching any episode of “Jersey Shore.”
  • Some animal species transformed into several others before taking their current state. Wildebeests, for example, look like they were once donkeys, then horses, then hyenas, giraffes, elephants, and finally the catch-all, parts-left-over animal you see today.
  • The theory of evolution cannot explain how a complaint from your Significant Other that you don’t wash the dishes somehow evolves into an argument with her claiming you never loved her.
