7 fantastic Indianapolis skyscrapers

7 fantastic Indianapolis skyscrapers.

The Inverted Tower – 1995

Name: The Inverted Tower

Construction Company: Upside-down Urbanites Inc.

Leader of the Build: Gregory Groundsky

Unique Architectural Element: A gravity-defying design where the top floors are wider than the base, making it appear as if it’s upside down. Excellent for clearing sinuses.

The Floating Floors – 2007

Name: The Floating Floors

Construction Company: Levitate Ltd.

Leader of the Build: Wendy Weightless

Unique Architectural Element: Each floor is suspended in mid-air, held up only by invisible magnetic fields. Lots of air flow helps keep your coworkers body odors from affecting your focus.

The Slinky Skyscraper – 2011

Name: The Slinky Skyscraper

Construction Company: Coiled Constructors Corp.

Leader of the Build: Samuel Springster

Unique Architectural Element: A helical structure that allows the building to gently sway in the wind without any damage. It also can transform into a Hellcat muscle car in case you want to drive a car that is very loud but not fast at all.

The Chameleon Cube – 2020

Name: The Chameleon Cube

Construction Company: Hue-Changers Holdings

Leader of the Build: Colleen Chroma

Unique Architectural Element: Facade panels that change colors to mimic the city’s skyline, blending the building seamlessly into its surroundings. The company has plenty of insurance to cover injuries when people walk straight into the outer walls they can’t see.

The Reflecting Rhombus – 1988

Name: The Reflecting Rhombus

Construction Company: Mirror Makers & More

Leader of the Build: Ronald Reflector

Unique Architectural Element: An angled, rhombus-shaped design covered in mirror panels that reflect distorted, funhouse-like images of the city. Hey, look, I look like a pear!

The Perpetual Pendulum Plaza – 2003

Name: The Perpetual Pendulum Plaza

Construction Company: Swingers and Swayers Solutions

Leader of the Build: Patty Pendula

Unique Architectural Element: A giant, functional pendulum that runs through the center of the building, representing the passage of time. Isn’t that the head of accounting riding the giant pendulum, downing Jaegermeister and singing German folk songs?

The Luminous Labyrinth Lofts – 2015

Name: The Luminous Labyrinth Lofts

Construction Company: Maze Makers Mastermind

Leader of the Build: Larry Labyrinthian

Unique Architectural Element: Multiple interconnected, lighted pathways on the building’s facade that create a visually pleasing maze pattern at night. That is, until they can’t pay the light bill and it looks more like a prison.
