Special birthday shoutout to Paul Stanley, lead guitarist for KISS. This picture was taken when I first met Paul in 2002. I interviewed him for a book I was pitching to New York publishers called, “How I Permanently Lost My Hearing at a KISS Concert in 1976.” He’s a great artist and made a quick painting of me which sold online for $17.4 million before I even left his house.
