Can you get back in your spaceship and get the heck out of here?

Recently scientists reported getting weak signals from an unknown source in space.

What if aliens finally make contact with us and turn out to be the annoying guy at work who smells faintly like old onions and lice? This is the guy who must tell you about his weekend jaunt going to old estate sales looking for antique brass door knockers that he resells on his eBay store “Knocker Locker.”

Sure, we’ll trade technology and stuff with aliens. But after awhile, it’s like “Road Rules.”

Reality sets in and we realize they are really way too friendly, too engaging and dang annoying. What if we we finally make contact with alien life, they land to worldwide excitement and acclaim, and then we can’t wait for them to leave?
