Carl Anderson (died 2004) did a stellar job singing the part of Judas in the original Broadway show and movie of “Jesus Christ Superstar.” Brandon Victor Dixon (Hamilton) also kills it his performance for Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert (with Toronto’s Choir! Choir! Choir!). NBC will broadcast the concert Sunday, April 1, 2018—with John Legend as Jesus, the amazing Sara Bareilles as Mary Magdelene and Alice Cooper as Herod.
