Five Fun Things To Do For Easter

Sure, Christmas is fun. You get all kinds of gifts and maybe even get to go skiing with your dumb sister. But Easter has lots of things to do, too.

Easter Bunny Breakfast

Have Breakfast with the Easter Bunny downtown this weekend! But be careful. Last year, he said he was going to the bathroom and then walked out the back door, leaving several local breakfasters with the bill.

Jesus Christ Superstar

Jesus Christ Superstar Live comes to the small screen. Part play, part concert and live event, the show tells the tale of the last days of Jesus told through the eyes of his personal driver. You’ll hear the hits, “We’ll Be There in 15 Minutes Depending on Traffic,” “You Said To Wake You At 8am By Honking Every Minute Outside Your Window,” and “Sir, Twelve is Too Many for A Lincoln Navigator.”

Bunny Run

Are you a runner or athlete? Try the annual Bunny Run 5K over at the mall. You’ll run past your favorite stores, including seventeen retailers that have shut down operations in the last 12 months because you’d rather buy stuff on Amazon.

Community Gardens

Community Gardens is sponsoring an Easter Egg hunt this weekend. Unfortunately, parents ruined it last year by storming in to the roped-off area where eggs were hidden before the start, grabbing eggs for their children before any other kids had a chance. Therefore this year, adults are banned from the Easter Egg hunt so kids can have fun again.

Easter Hockey

The local semi-pro hockey team will present their annual Easter weekend skate-a-thon benefit. Come out and skate with team stars as they raise money to buy new pads for the goalie.
