Dual Sport Champion College Athlete Asked To Choose Football Over Fallout

Chad Goodatboth, a world-class college football player and e-sports champion, was asked by the coaching staff at Bordertown University to choose football or resign from the college. Coach Ironhead told him e-sports is not a real sport and is a fad, saying that he had one week to decide about next year’s football season or leave the school.

“I don’t think it’s fair,” Goodatboth said. “I just happen to be a fantastic football player and Fallout competitor. Basically, I’m a nerd that gets the girls. So forcing me to choose football is short-sighted. Esports are taking over the world. And when I sit in the chair and kick the butt of every other player in the room, all the while with my girlfriend sitting in my lap, well, come on, that’s pretty good, right?”

“It’s not a sport,” Coach “Eddy” Ironhead responded. “He can hang out with those nerds all day and night if he wants for all I care, AFTER the season. For now we have to get his head on the field to WIN FOOTBALL GAMES.”

Goodatboth said he does not know which one he will choose until after he talks with his mom and dad during Parent’s Week.
