Elon Musk and SpaceX Announce New Interplanetary Pogo Stick Service

Building on recent successes, Elon Musk and SpaceX announced a new interplanetary pogo stick service. Designed to make travel between planets easier and safer, Space Pogo uses high-powered pogo sticks that allow travelers to bounce from one planet to another with ease.

“Well, uh, the trick, uh, is to start bouncing as high as you can under your own, uh, power,” said Musk. “Once you’ve gone as high as you can, you, uh, hit our patented rocket boosters and, uh, the last bounce will launch you, uh, on a flight pattern to whichever, uh, planet you’ve set it for.”

Space Pogo was the brainchild of junior SpaceX rocket scientist Scotty McPogopro, a long-time pogo enthusiast. “We had a few too many Diet Cokes at lunch on the Venice boardwalk,” he said. “I watched this one guy pogo real high and even flip over! I joked that he had to be careful or he would launch himself out our atmosphere. That’s how it all started,” he laughed.
