Great Uncle Ziff hated to be late for work

My Great Uncle Ziff hated to be late for work. That’s mainly because his boss told him if he was late for work again he’d be fired. Instead of getting up earlier, Ziff decided he just needed a faster way to get to work than afforded by his old bicycle. After months of tinkering in his garage in East Dayton, Ohio he came up with the Ziff Zip Wheel in 1910. His invention cut his commute to National Cash Register from 45 minutes to 10.
