Homeowners win $5 million verdict due to more than 600 golf balls hitting their house and yard

A family living on a golf course south of Boston won $5 million in a lawsuit after they said more than 600 golf balls hit their house.

I’m sorry. It was my fault. Mostly, anyway.

I hit 535 of them. To be fair, most of them hit the chimney.

But I did take out the lawn ornament with wheels that spin in the wind so it looks like a cat riding a bike.

I landed my favorite golf ball on a hamburger cooking on the outdoor BBQ right when they threw some cheese on it.

And I was the one who knocked the birdfeeder down near the pool and it landed in the neighbor’s bouffant hairdo and nobody noticed.
