Lifelong Indians Fan Finally Catches Foul Ball After Six Decades of Home Games—Is Asked To Leave By Security Because He Had “Snuck Down To the Good Seats”

Bobby “Go Tribe” Billingboonger from Parma Heights, a lifelong Cleveland Indians superfan, jumped for joy when he caught a foul ball at a recent home game after six decades of trying.

“I’ve been to every home game for the last 60 years,” he told reporters outside the ballpark. “Brought my trusty glove to every one. I’ve been close, but I never caught one on the fly. As I got older, a few youngsters would jump over me, so I never had a chance. But today was the day!”

Sadly, shortly after he caught the ball, security asked him to leave the park. Cleveland Indians Security Chief Todd Nofunatparties said, “A patron called in to report this old man sneaking in to the good seats down near the field. Bobby fit the description. When we saw him leaping to catch that ball on the Jumbotron, we knew it was him. We ejected him immediately. We can’t have people breaking the rules around here.”

Nofunatparties banned Bobby for the rest of the season, but said he is allowed to roam the parking lots and listen to the roar of the crowd from there.
