NBA Awards Golden State Warriors with Championships for 2019-2024

The NBA announced today the Golden State Warriors as winners of NBA Championships for next year and the following seasons through 2024.

“By going ahead and announcing the Warriors as the winner of the NBA Championship for the next few years, the league and fans will save money and time,” said league president Adam Silver. “When the league’s best player, LeBron James, can’t break the Warriors hold on the Championship, it’s time to give them the victory in advance.

“It doesn’t matter if LeBron goes to the Knicks, Rockets or Lakers, the Warriors will win the Championship. This allows us to better plan celebrations, parades and sponsorships.”
