Office worker runs clothesline from Wells Fargo Center to Rocky Mountains

Recently an accountant in the Wells Fargo Center ran a clothesline from outside her office window on the 50th floor to the nearby Rocky Mountains and back. The accountant said the line allowed her to do laundry at her accounting job, freeing her up from doing the task later so that she could take on a second job to make up for the cutbacks in her accountant role.

“For more than 20 years, my accounting job was enough to provide for a solid middle-class existence for my family in the Denver area. Recently, however due to salary cuts, I have taken on a second job in the evening. The clothes line outside my office window is attached on the other side to the Rocky Mountains. It allows me to dry laundry while at work, something I used to finish at night instead of working a second job,” she explained.
