Cold weather fact: Be careful if your eye tears up from a cold wind (or a Depeche Mode song) because your eyelashes freeze fast. If you open your eyes too fast, you may rip your eyelashes out. Take your gloved hand and hold it over your eyes to warm them up first.

Bonus: “Rip Your Eyelashes Out” was a top Depeche Mode hit in 1987.
