She ghosted me on our first date at a haunted house

Here’s some advice. Never take your Significant Other to a Halloween haunted house for a date. If there is any problem in the relationship, you might be if for trouble.

This haunted house has been in my area for years. It’s called Haunted Condos and is in downtown LA. They take three floors of one of the newest condo complexes downtown and turn it into a first rate Halloween scare-me-out-of-my-wits experience.

Three floors you ask? Well, the reason they can access three floors of empty condos is many of the owners live overseas and are just parking money. They never lived there nor ever planned to live there.

We were walking through the first hallway. Several dead cadavers brushed past us to amp up the creepiness. A fog machine filled the floor and blacklights along the floor highlighted the ghostly scene.

We turned into the first condo. A medical team of zombies was operating on what looked like a normal person. On closer look, I could see it was my girlfriend. We were holding hands and she slipped away to join the Haunted Condo team. Later she texted me she loved it so much she is leaving me to go into the Haunted Condo business full time. I texted back that it only happens once a year.

She said it is not a job. It’s a lifestyle.
