That time my family moved to Iowa and I cried

For their safety when WWII started, Britain sent many children to Canada, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand (photo) until the war ended.

This is similar to when I was teenager. In Canada, my parents sent me to hockey camp for the summer and then moved back to the US without me “for their safety and quality of life.”
