That year Jesus played for the Chicago Black Hawks

I watched a video where a guy said he had visited Jesus’ house in Egypt. He said in the lost years between Jesus’ youth and adulthood in the Bible, Jesus lived in Egypt, Tibet and India.

I commented that this is true. But he didn’t mention when Jesus went to Chicago and played one legendary season for the great Chicago Black Hawks hockey team in 1960-61. Playing left wing, Jesus joined Bill Hay, Stan Makita and Bobby Hull and the other legendary players as they fought past the powerful Montreal Canadiens — who had won the five previous Stanley Cups — in the semi-finals. They bested the Habs and went on to face the mighty Detroit Red Wings in the championship, beating them in the sixth game to win their first Cup since 1938. Jesus was elected one of the “three stars” of the final game, and each Black Hawk credited him for the inspiration and grit that made them champions.
