Trump Administration Reduces List of Endangered Species From 1600 to Ten

The Trump administration recently overhauled the Endangered Species Act, reducing the number of protected species from 1600 down to ten. The move outraged conservation experts and professionals around the country.

Animals on the list currently include the Sperm Whale, Bengal Tiger, African Wild Dog, Asian Elephant, Polar Bear, Mexican Bobcat, Slender-Horned Gazelle, Simeien Fox and many others.

“The list was way too big,” Donald Trump told reporters. “I mean you can see elephants and tigers at the zoo anytime. I saw a polar bear on TV the other day and he looked fine. Most of the animals on the Endangered Species Act list are not endangered at all. Hillary Clinton cooked up this list at her kitchen table one morning while Bill was probably on the phone with Jeffrey Epstein.”

Conservation activists reacted immediately. “Trump wouldn’t know an endangered species unless it ambled on to the set of Fox News and spent the entire segment talking about how great the president is,” one activist said. “Then he would tweet how a talking tiger said his life was great out in the wild and all the animals love the president.”

Trump said, “They aren’t really endangered. Hillary came up with the list. If they were really in trouble, they could walk to any zoo and we would protect them. They aren’t endangered, they are just lazy.”
