7 Things Le’Veon Bell Can Do in Pittsburgh While He is Not Playing
He said he’d be back either in Week seven or eight of the 2018 NFL calendar, but running back Le’Veon Bell never showed up to play for the Pittsburgh Steelers either week. Later he said he is going to sit out the season in an effort to get more money in 2019 as a free agent.
Time will tell, but for now here are 7 things Le’Veon can do in Pittsburgh to keep himself occupied.
1.Ride his bike up Canton Avenue, the steepest street in the US, while yelling, “Who the hell made this crazy road? My calves are dying!”
2.Tip a beer at Church Brew Works, housed in an old St. John’s the Baptist Church. As people walk by, sprinkle them with his favorite IPA and say, “The brew is with you.”
3.Head over to Randyland, a folk-art house/landmark/museum with hundreds of gardens. Stand out front and tell visitors, “Welcome to Randyland. I’m not Randy, but he’s a good guy.”
4.Take multiple selfies at the Warhol Museum while holding a Campbell’s soup can and then post them to Insta.
5.Go to Prantl’s Bakery for the “greatest cake in America,” leading a march through the bakery, chanting, “Who’s the Greatest Cake in the World? We’re the Greatest Cake in the World!”
6.Head over to Grandview Park which has a sweeping view of the city and yell, “I love ya, Pittsburgh, but your boy’s gotta get that paper!”
7.Stop in Construction Junction which has tons of recycled materials and appliances ready for the hardy DIYer, and say, “Listen, I’m redoing my whole house to be the next Randyland. What do you have to get me started?”
