Amazon customers tell company they are OK with three day delivery if it stops vans from driving on their lawn

Amazon Customers to Preserve Lawns, a grassroots Seattle-based Facebook group, wrote a letter to Amazon telling the company they are OK with three-day delivery if it keeps company vans from pulling up on their lawns to deliver packages.

“Everyone like speedy delivery,” said group moderator Sally Wheresmypetunias, “but we want Amazon to know we are OK with three-day delivery if it slows down these vans and keeps them from driving up on our lawns to throw the packages at the door at 35 mph. The other day I came downstairs to find a van had driven right into my kitchen. And he cut himself a piece of cake that was intended for my kid’s birthday. It’s out of control.”
