Biden Administration to review hated endings to classic TV series

Today the Biden administration announced an inter-disciplinary committee to review some of the most hated series finales in entertainment.

“Fans are still fuming about the 2005 ending to ‘Star Trek: Enterprise,'” explained Jen Psaki, White House Press Secretary. “In the finale, we see the things about to take place in the far-flung future from the point of view of William Riker via holodeck? No way. We intend to investigate why this story line was allowed to proceed.

“And what about ‘Two and Half Men?’ They already killed off Charlie Sheen’s character. Only to bring him back in the finale to drop of a piano on him and kill him again? No.

“And the finale to ‘Lost’ lamely says it was all basically ‘purgatory on a nice beach?’ Totally lame.

“And what kills me the most is the ending to ‘The Sopranos’ in 2007. So 58,745 people get whacked during this series and we don’t get to know who did in Tony at the the end? Are you kidding me?”

Congressional hearings to review the committee’s finding are scheduled to take place from June through September of 2021.
