Joe Flacco Seeks Trade as NFL’s Top Backup Quarterback: “I Can Turn Your Team Into A Super Bowl Champion From the Bench!”

Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh benched Super Bowl (2013) MVP quarterback Joe Flacco in favor of Lamar Jackson for this Sunday’s game. The change makes Flacco the highest paid backup quarterback in the world.

While disappointing, Flacco has decided to make the best of the situation and asked his agent, Tom Getmeadeal, to see if he could be traded to other teams who need a great backup quarterback with a huge salary.

“Look, I can sit on the bench for much better teams,” Flacco told reporters. “I love the Ravens, but they’ve made their decision. I want to get three to five more Super Bowls before I retire. I’m looking for a team I can help get there from the bench. There are several top teams I can help get to the next level while sitting in a relaxed manner on the sidelines, sipping a Gatorade.”

Getmeadeal said he was in talks with several teams who have expressed interest in Flacco. “The Browns, Bengals, Colts, Eagles and Redskins have all called. The Vikings, Bears and Lions texted me the minute they heard Flacco was in play.”

In Detroit, Matt Patricia’s beard contacted Getmeadeal via Skype. His beard said he was contacting Getmeadeal because Patricia was currently busy with one of the worst offensive lines in the league. Getmeadeal said, “Yeah, I was surprised to get a call from Patricia’s beard, but I guess the guy is busy. They want a backup quarterback who can yell things from the side of the field and pump up the squad. Joe Flacco is the perfect guy.”

Flacco and Getmeadeal plan to review each team to see where he would fit best. Flacco said, “I just want to make sure I remain the highest paid backup quarterback in the history of the league and never have to play. I mean, I will if I have to, but I can add much more value from the bench. I have the experience and skill set that takes teams all the way to Super Bowl Victory Town. Let’s get this done!”
