Why does Jill Biden FORCE people to address her as DOCTOR?
Recently a Wall Street Journal opinion writer called Jill Biden “kiddo” and criticized her for using the title “Doctor” in front of her name, saying that title should be reserved for medical doctors. She earned her Doctor of Education degree at the University of Delaware. I imagine this scenario from a fictional person:
Person:
“I push my kids HARD to get TOP grades so they can get in the BEST schools. Yes, college costs have skyrocketed but education is priceless!”
Same person:
“Why is Jill Biden insisting people address her as DOCTOR. She’s a doctor of EDUCATION. The nerve. She doesn’t operate on people’s hearts! She doesn’t work in EMERGENCY medicine!”
