3 Reasons the Golden State Warriors Will Win the 2018 NBA Championship

Golden State is a team of destiny. Nothing can stop them. With a one game lead, you can expect the Warriors to wrap up the 2018 NBA Championship real soon. Here are three reasons why.

Ten Years Experience

The Warriors have been in ten NBA finals over the years. Not only that, they’ve qualified for five WNBA finals, three NCAA Championship final fours, and two National Spelling Bees.

Five Wins

Golden State has captured five, count ’em, five, NBA finals already. The first one was in 1947 when they were the Philadelphia Warriors, defeating the vaunted Chicago Stags. The Warriors moved to the Bay area in 1962, chronicled in Elton John’s 1975 hit song, “Philadelphia Freedom.”

Currying Favor

The Warriors boast the services of one Stephen Curry, one of the best shooters in NBA history. The Warriors point to his scoring prowess as one of the reasons they dominate opponents. Curry was born in Akron, Ohio, where fellow superstar LeBron James grew up. Hence the Akron slogan: “Akron – We Got Tires and NBA Highfliers.”
