Just a little blood from the roller pinching my finger, don’t worry

Just thinking about the old days of credit cards.
My mom handed the sales clerk a credit card. They laid it down on this manual machine and covered it with the sales slip.
KA-CHUNK it went as the clerk yanked a thick roller over the top so the raised lettering on the card printed on the sales slip.
If no fingers were broken, they would tear off a perforated copy and my mom put it in her purse, taking it out at home to put in a little box between her sewing machine and my hockey equipment bag in the basement.
