School and Education

My confession: I faked research results for my masters degree

Folks, with all the education scandals happening around the collegesphere, I thought it was a good time to admit I faked research results for my master’s thesis, “A Comparative Study of Napping Locations on Campus: From Library Floors to Lecture Halls.”

My thesis ranks the best (and worst) places for a quick snooze between classes, based on comfort, noise levels, and the risk of being photographed and turned into a meme. However, instead of a peer-reviewed research methodology, I used myself as the sole data source, often taking naps around Ohio University in stairwells, between parked cars, in lecture halls during classes I wasn’t even taking, in the Cutler Hall bell tower, in Galbreath Chapel, in Alden Library in the “Poetry of Hockey Legends” book stacks, and many more odd spots.
