5 Shark Tank Lessons You Can Use Today To Be More Successful

Shark Tank is a highly popular ABC-TV show where five successful entrepreneurs and business owners listen to pitches from hopeful inventors, startups and cookie makers. Their goal is to secure funding from one or more of the Sharks.

The show provides lots of lessons you can use in your daily life to be more successful and profitable:

1. Look successful. Be impeccably groomed. Check your appearance in the reflection off Mr. Wonderful’s bald head.

2. Be original. Every contestant makes a sample version of their product for Mark Cuban using Dallas Maverick’s colors. Instead, use Ohio State’s colors, telling Cuban his Indiana Hoosiers will never be as good as the Buckeyes.

3. Stand out from the crowd. Most presenters bore the Sharks to death. Try pitching naked while wearing an English bowler hat.

4. Know your numbers. For gosh sake, don’t say the “potential market is $10 billion.” Everyone says that line. Blecch.

5. Stand your ground. Don’t give in right away, unless Mark Cuban wants to buy you out for $20 milly. Just say yes.
