I’ve seen some filthy things
Really stomach wrenching stuff
Brothers who farted and belched and burped
Growing up was really rough

Got through school and graduated
Went to work and celebrated
Loved my job coworkers too
Had it made till I felt blue

Hide the dogs and hide the kids
Turn your head pull down your lids
I saw a disgusting sight
The break room fridge in broad daylight

What is that?
I think I feel sick

Put my lunch into the fridge
Looked like a war zone up on the ridge
The food in here is really rank
It looked bad and worse it stank

Spilled food and drinks everywhere
I think I got some in my hair
How old is that Tupperware?
Its growing mold in the putrid air

How did we get this situation?
What are the roots of causation?
Who stuffed this fridge to the top?
With a chemical spill of green-colored slop?

I held my nose and closed the door
I don’t want to see anymore
Turned my head and started to cry
Lungs shutting down before my eyes

I can’t do this job anymore
That fridge made my head sore
It haunts my days and sleepless nights
I’m haunted by horrific sights

Turned in my notice, finally felt free
That break room fridge was killing me
Drove home fast, foot to the floor
I couldn’t take anymore
But what was waiting at my door
A green mold standing ten-foot-4
