After lambasting President Biden for his “lackluster” response to a Chinese spy balloon making its way leisurely across the country, Republican were incensed about emerging reports that three separate balloons did the same thing during President Trump‘s tenure and he did nothing. Prominent Republicans called this report a lie until transcripts emerged that showed Trump discussing the balloons in 2019. Trump said: “You call that a balloon? The Macy’s Parade. Now those are balloons! This balloon is a loser. SAD.”
